Jamie McGonagill comes from ten generations of cattle ranchers, and is a sixth-generation Floridian. Woven into those ancestors were a series of women with careers in alternative healing, including a great-grandmother who facilitated séances in post-WW2 Louisiana, and a mother who founded an eminent international energy healing school.
After graduating with honors with a BFA from New York University in 2013, Jamie McGonagill became a student of the Lightworkers Healing Method, a system of Angelically-Guided Multi-Dimensional Energy Healing for Soul Purpose: http://lightworkersmethod.com/. She enrolled in their three-year Residential Intensive Training Program in 2014. In 2015, Jamie’s healing practice and related training shifted from human clients to equine healing. After three years of full-time training, Jamie completed her first Equine Healing Practicum in the Venice-Englewood area. In August 2017, she completed her Secondary Equine Healing Practicum in Marion County and founded Ocala Equine Healing.
Since 2017, Jamie has been working around the world with a wide variety of horses: Thoroughbred race horses, race-horses-in-training, competitive Hunter/Jumper Warmbloods, thoroughbred broodmares, rescued Mustangs, endurance Arabians, Western Pleasure Quarter Horses, and World Champion Paso Fino competitors. She is a trusted healer in top-quality competitive facilities, like the World Equestrian Center (WEC), Horses In The Sun (HITS), and Ocala Breeders Sales (OBS).
Jamie continues to work with selected human clients to heal challenges related to grief, anxiety, physical illness or injury, and more. Jamie also enjoys facilitating space clearing sessions for homes or businesses that experience disturbed energy. She has been described as, "Part therapist, part ghost-hunter, part Angelic translator." When she isn't working with clients, Jamie volunteers with climate-action organizations.
